Engaging with US Domestic Politics: A Visit to the Massachusetts State House

Moderater: Victoria Budson, Executive Director, Women and Public Policy Program (WAPP) Kennedy School of Government and Chair of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. Delegates will discuss the role of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women to advance women toward full equality in all areas of life and to promote rights and opportunities for women. Delegates will also discuss the role of legislative power of the Senate and House of Representatives; the executive power of the Governor, the role of the Governor’s Council ; other officers, including the Attorney General and Secretary of the Commonwealth.
